French toast and scrapple for breakfast was yummy. Definitely get the Jumbo Mix drink (Arnold Palmer) because it's the best in the area. Tight seating and a little run down, but neat and orderly. Good customer service and decent prices. Definitely like this location and their other location.

We needed a place that served breakfast and found this place through Yelp. This was within easy driving distance of the house we rented. Service was very friendly and prompt. It was just what we wanted for breakfast.

This place has been around for years and I still love it. The food is delicious. Every time I visit Maryland I must come in for good laughs and even better food. This place is like a home away from home. I wish they would make a reality show about what goes on there because I feel like I get food and a show. It's a very cozy, warm place.

Been in the area for over 15 years and never stopped by this location. Went in on a Saturday morning for breakfast and though the place is very small and service a bit on the slow side, the food was really good and prices great. Our waitress was pretty much on the ball, though the other waitress seemed to be having some issues that day as her facial expressions, comments while taking phone orders were over the top rude, and food served promptly when order was ready. Would go again for breakfast as it wasn't crowded and the prices are right.

Absolutely wonderful! The smell of the restaurant is delightful. I enjoyed every second of my meal! Tried to stuff it all but I couldn't lol I order home fries, turkey sausage, and hot cakes. The hot cakes were so big and had a unique taste, they were buttery and fluffy, and over all heavenly. They are convenient as far as location is concerned. I didn't have to wait long for my food. I loved my experience and will definitely be back.

The food in this establishment is pretty good. It's the epitome of a mom and pop shop, it's cozy and simple. However, they really need to do a better job with cleanliness. The floors could be considered filthy, which is a real turn off right before you order food. We ordered the blueberry pancakes which were great and their signature steak in a sack dish, which was delicious. I also ordered some wheat toast that was smothered in butter unfortunately. Overall it was a decent meal and a refreshing break from the regular local breakfast restaurants like IHOP.

One of my favorite hide away breakfast spots. If you like pancakes try their blueberry flapjacks. They are amazing!

This place is very small and kind of looks like a hole in the wall, however, the food is very good! We went in for a late breakfast and sat immediately and the food was served very fast! The food was very good and extremely filling! My companion and I ate very well, very fast! The staff appear to be related or very closely connected and they were extremely nice! They were friendly and explained all that we needed to know about the menu and their options!

When I first started eating here, service was ok, now when I frequent this establishment the service is horrible. The wait staff is too busy congregating and conversing to notice when customers enter the the door. Once you enter and choose a seat the tables are dirty and haven't been cleaned, and it takes them forever to come take your order and clean the table. I hope one day they have a customer service class or something to teach their employees how to properly work in the food service industry, because I happen to like this place. But as of right now 1 star. I pray the owner reads these post and hold some ppl to the flame and right the ship, before it goes down.

Food is great, but just like the other reviewers have said the place is filthy! I usually get it to go when I order for my husband but I refuse to eat here, its too dirty.

I have no idea what the awkward name of this super homey diner even means and I don't wanna know. The thing is, I've been dining here for years now and it's not a place to bring a date, but it is a place to bring someone you care about. You get the difference? You see, this diner must subsist purely on the good sentiments it engenders through its about-to-be-devoured-by-termites counter and 1970s style orange booths and the imperfect but genuine smiles of the staff who greet you like you're a cousin visiting from out of town, because I come back here time and time again even though the food is nothing to write home about. Homemade sweet tea with crushed ice is one of their saving graces. It's better than McDonald's, the standard of sweet tea in DC. I always order the steak and eggs, and that's a hit or miss, depending on who's in the kitchen. But otherwise, it's a good, sloppy, greasy American meal and I like it! Now, if you come check this place out, and you've just come from a Silver Diner and you try to compare, then you just won't get its appeal. In fact, you may be pretty disgusted. This place thrives on its merits as a "neighborhood" diner, and it's not at all capable of being more than that. Again, not the best place to impress a date, but if I've brought you here with me on a lazy Sunday afternoon, I must think the world of you.

WHY HASN'T THE HEALTH DEPT CLOSED THIS JOINT? Can I give a negative star? First, it's darn nasty, unclean looking. I'm surprised roaches didn't great me at the door. Second, uh the people working there looked liked they were recently paroled. Third and most important, did I just watch them microwave the meat? Yes, my eyes didn't deceive me. They actually first microwaved the meat (pastrami ) then placed it on a grill. Ok, I get it. This is PG county and folks here obviously have absolutely no idea of what good quality food is. I can't believe people gave this nasty treasure trove of germs 4/5 stars. I've moved to Hicksville. God help me!

I usually go here if I don't feel like cooking breakfast. If you call ahead they are really quick. I don't like to eat on-site, the place is small, and it looks like it's been there since the late 60's. The pancakes suck, something is definitely missing with them. Everything else is okay to good, nothing really stands out. Run of the mill food. 2.5 stars, but will give them the benefit of the doubt.

Bought my wife to a local dentist and stumbled on this place. Decided to come by after church. Before I came, I checked it out on Yelp. There were only a few reviews but they were good. The place was not crowded but the booths were kinda small. The waitresses were quick and efficient. When the food came, it was more than I had anticipated. Really nice homey place for a good meal! Two thumbs up!

Average fish sandwich, husband got the tuna sandwich and it was dry. Some of fries were Ok but got mostly crumbs! Chili tasted out of can and not good at all. Prices were reasonable though. Waitress was very friendly. Very high chance we will not go again.

WARNING!!!! DO NOT EAT HERE! At one point of time, I was like all the other customers. I thought this place just look like a hole in a wall, kinda of dirty looking, but the food was outstanding up until this day (9/20/15). This place very dirty and not sanitizing at all! While slicing up my pancakes, I saw a black spot inside of it. I look closer and tried to break the piece off, not to find out it was a bug. It was a bug cooked inside of my pancakes! I was devastated! I work with the State of Maryland government Dept of Human Resources; alone side the State of Maryland Health Department. Monday morning they will be notified. This place really need to be investigated immediately! This is bad for consumers health.

This place is unprofessional and unclean. The staff was rude poorly dressed and had horrible customer service. Hair was in our food because the staff has long hair uncovered while preparing our meal. Over charged us for items we didn't have. Won't be coming back here!!!!

Glad I found this neighborhood spot. I like the homey feel. My breakfast sandwich was good and on point. Will be back soon! Can't wait to try the rest of the menu.
